Michael Leonetti is "The Storm That Can't Be Stopped." As a child prodigy Michael began performing professionally at the young age of ten. Michael's first instrument was the drums and remains today his favorite. "Playing the drums is the best for me," says Michael, "Today my hands are still fast. I haven't slowed down over the years." For the longest time Michael sat behind the drums while performing in shows all over the east coast. Then after he made the move to Las Vegas his young wife was the one who suggested Michael stand in front of the band and sing. "The rest is history," says Michael. "When I was playing at the Riviera it was Corey Sacks, Tony Fereatti and the Naple Sisters who joined me." It was Bobby Gino who conducted the band, but it was Michael who counted off the high energy tempos and created the hottest show band in town.
Michael Leonetti Loves to Cook. Since he was a child Michael grew up watching his grandmother cook while other children played outside and when he turned eighteen his grandmother handed over "the spoon" to Michael. This was a tradition in the Italian families. When the spoon was handed down it meant that from that day forward Michael was "the chef" in the kitchen for all the Sunday dinners. And that tradition is what lead Michael to being one of the best choices to share "The South Philadelphia East Coast Cooking" style on the “Sandy Kastel & Friends” Variety TV Show that so many are enjoying today when they sit down at a meal prepared by "Chef Michael."
